We demand Eni to immediately cancel its agreement with Ithaca Energy, an 89% subsidiary of Delek Group, one of Israel’s major energy companies, which is on the UN BLACK LIST of companies operating in the illegally occupied Palestinian territories.
Basically, we demand ENI to stop funding the war.
This agreement will fuel violations of international law and support illegal Israeli settlements. That is why we are concerned:
- In 2023, Ithaca transferred over $350 million to Delek Group, which is complicit in violations of the rights of the Palestinian people.
- Since 2020, Delek Group has been blacklisted by the UN for supporting illegal settlements and commercial use of Palestinian natural resources.
- Delek Group has ties to the Israeli military: Israeli Defense Forces vehicles refuel at their gas stations.
Eni must stop putting profit before the protection of the climate, nature and human rights!
